The Star of Bethlehem is the center focus with the Manger Scene in Bethlehem directly below it. The Shepherds are to the left pointing in amazement to the Star of Bethlehem while the Three Wise Men are to the right following the Star of Bethlehem. The Bible verse Luke 2:14 is enclosed surrounding the piece.

The model was stitched using one strand of DMC color floss on Zweigart 28ct Light Sand. Measuring approximately 29w x 8h finished with an Antique Hem Stitch Border, instructions included with the pattern. Edinburgh linen is ideal for this project as it measures 55", just enough to include the Antique Hem Stitch.

This piece recieved a Blue Ribbon at the 46th Annual National Needlework Exhibition at the Woodlawn Plantation in Alexandria, Virginia in 2009.
