Everyone’s dressed for the Monster Mash,
It’s the annual Halloween midnight bash.
Dracula, Frankenstein and the Mummy too,
Watch in anticipation to scare you.
Ms. Spider puts on the finishing touch,
And Ms. Kitty is waiting for Jack to brighten things up.
But beware of the Skelton with his red bowtie,
He’s hiding behind and waiting for you to go by.
The fabric used for this design is 36 count over-dyed linen called “Earthen” by
Picture this Plus Co. using Zweigart® fabric. It was stitched over two using two
strands of DMC threads with some Petit Point (one over one) for the wording, monsters
fingers, spider, and the top of the tombstone around the fingers.
This completed three dimensional design is approximately 3/8” thick with the pins
being inserted in the surrounding border.
The finished design size is 3-1/4’w X 3-5/8”h each x 2 pieces. You will need another
piece of the same fabric 1.5” wide x 15” long to whip stitch both the front and back pieces together.

Kreinik #025 was used with DMC # 318 for the spider web.
I went to the local fabric shop and bought colored pins.
Use whatever color suits you fancy.
